On 4th March 2026, six students from Oxford Public School, Waigaon — daughters of farmers, first-generation learners — competed at the World Peace Ethics Contest in Thailand.
They came home with ranks, scholarships, and something harder to measure: the knowledge that where you are born does not decide how far you can go.
On the same evening, Dr. Chetana Sawai received an international award for Excellence in Rural Girl Child Education from the Dhammakaya Foundation, Thailand.
Every name here is a student from a real village in Wardha district.
Oxford Public School, Waigaon achieved recognition in the Asia Book of Records — a collective achievement reflecting the calibre of students and faculty CES has built over 30 years.
From a village school serving farming communities, to a record-holding institution recognised across Asia — this is what sustained investment in rural education looks like.
Help us keep that door open for the next generation of students from rural Wardha.
